Darlingford Waters Boat Club

Houseboat pens currently available. Great value and plenty of options.

At Darlingford we work hard to ensure our membership options are flexible and that our fees continue to provide the best value for money on the lake. With pens now available, this is your chance to secure a pen for your houseboat at this sought after location and club.

Darlingford is owned by members, run by members, and exists for members. Our unwavering commitment to our members and their families is the platform and ethos of our club – a commitment which extends to our membership options and fees – ensuring they are provide excellent value for money and a variety of membership options to suit all.

There are two options available for membership, as outlined below.

Membership Option 1 – Unit Holder

Become a unit holder in the Darlingford Waters Boat Club (DWBC) Unit Trust (just like buying shares) by purchasing 50 units (A class shares) in the DWBC Unit Trust (from an existing member wanting to sell).

This would make you a full club member and you would be allocated a houseboat pen. Once you purchase 50 units in the DWBC Unit Trust they are your asset that you can sell if you leave the club.

As with all shares their value will rise and fall with market demands.

As a full member you have full club voting rights.

Full Members pay an annual Full Membership fee.

Membership Option 2 –Social Member

Become a social club member and lease a club owned pen, or member owned pen.

Member owned pens are typically leased at a rate which is similar to the lease cost of a club owned pen, however this is negotiable with the pen owner.

Social Members pay an annual Social Membership fee.

Note: Both membership options require an application to become a DWBC member to be submitted to the Club Directors for approval. Darlingford does not levy a joining or application fee.
