How does membership at Darlingford work?

There are two options available for membership – Full Membership and Social Membership, our membership page has all the answers.

What is the Darlingford Waters Boat Club all about?

Our club is all about family. We are a family of like-minded houseboating enthusiasts that appreciate all that Lake Eildon offers and the great times that can be had on the water with both family and friends. And the other members in the club will become your friends with a relaxed and enjoyable, no pressure atmosphere.

How do I become a member?

You can contact the club via email dwbcmarina@bigpond.com or call Ric Perna, the DWBC Caretaker on 03 5774 2414 or 0428 994 090 and the club membership officer will be in contact with you.

Can my guests use my boat without me being there?

No, insurance issues require the member to be present.

Do you have social functions?

Yes, the club has an Activities Committee with regular planned events that you can choose to be a part of or not, it’s up to you.

What member benefits do you offer?

Your membership provides you with a wide range of benefits and facilities. These include, to name a few, secure, managed facility with a full time caretaker, safe parking, launching ramp, wide marina corridors, work barges for maintenance, storage sheds, an ice machine, LPG gas bottles, a compressor for all your inflatable toys, and rubbish disposal.

Can I meet other members before joining?

Of course, you will be more than welcome, give Ric Perna, the DWBC Facility Manager a call and he will arrange an introduction.

Is it easy to get to the club? Where is it?

Yes, we are an easy twelve minute drive from Eildon township, just follow the map on our contact page.

Can I store my ski boat at the club?

Yes, the club has space available in the Big Shed and a large number of individual storage sheds (subject to availability).

How big is Darlingford?

Darlingford has 96 pens in the facility, and a corresponding number of members and families.

What are the membership fees?

Our membership fees provide excellent value for money. More detail can be found on our membership page.

Can I launch my runabout at the club?

Yes, we have excellent boat ramps which operate at all lake levels.
