January 26, 2018 Order of Australia Medal (OAM) to Greg Boland

Congratulations to our DWBC member Greg Boland who received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) on Australia Day for his service and development of community programs to improve aboriginal and police relations in the 1980’s and 90’s.

Greg was with Victoria Police for over 35 years, where he worked in many and varied areas.  Including, Northcote, The Mounted Branch, Echuca, Crime Car Squad, as Detective at St. Kilda and Dandenong, at D24, and Prahran to name a few.

Greg was previously a member of the DWBC Social Club and has been a Director and Chairman of the Club, serving five years in that role.
