Our Place

Our facilities and spaces support great experiences for members.

We offer members:

  • Wide, stable marinas that are well lit providing comfortable and safe access to houseboats day and night
  • Spacious marina corridors and a sheltered location on the lake to support easy and safe berthing
  • Member barges to help with movement of larger, heavier items
  • Work barge with 240v power to make houseboat maintenance easier
  • Wash barge with water tap to clean those hard-to-reach places on your houseboat
  • LGP gas service with free delivery to your boat
  • Ice service with made-on-site ice and an honesty purchase system
  • Free (limited) trailer parking on site
  • Free trailer parking off-site in Eildon
  • Boat storage sheds for ski boats and equipment (limited availability)
  • Big Shed with washing machines, toilets, book exchange and a great space for social activities
  • Security cameras and live webcams so you can monitor your moored boat from home

There is plenty of onsite car parking and gently sloping concrete steps and ramps to every access to marina to make access to your houseboat easy.

We also have plans as part of our 2021-2025 Strategic Plan to invest in a Clubhouse type facility, improve phone service and work with all stakeholders to improve the road access to the club.

Facility Manager

Facilities Manager – Ric

Ric is our Facility Manager and he and Steph live onsite at Darlingford.

Ric takes care of the marinas and overall facility and both he and Steph are welcoming faces at the club.  Because they live on site, Ric can provide an additional watch over the weather and its impact on marinas and houseboats and manages the logbook for all contractors on site, providing a safe and secure club environment.

Having been in the role since 2018, Ric has an in depth understanding of our club, our site, the needs of our members and how to best support Darlingford in his role.  He is an asset to our club.

Ric is also ably assisted by Jimmy, who is local to the area.  Jimmy provides excellent support to Ric in his role and is always willing to lend a hand to members.

If you’re wanting to visit Darlingford to see if we might be the right club on the lake for you, give Ric a call to arrange a site tour on 03 5774 2414.
